Ariana Grande performs with NSYNC, Nicki Minaj, Diddy at Coachella

Coachella, an annual arts and music festival, started in Indio, California on Friday with Childish Gambino as the headliner.

Over the weekend, Ariana Grande's social media activity sparked rumors that NSYNC would somehow be involved with her Coachella set. Earlier in the week, Grande teased the upcoming appearance, posting videos of her singing along to the group's music.

Grande also sang Timberlake's parts since he was wrapping up his "Man of the Woods" tour in CT and was unable to attend.

She ended her set with an encore of 'thank u, next'.

Johnson left red faced after practice swing gaffe
The 43-year old was not assessed a penalty and the shot did not count as a stroke as Johnson had no intention to hit the ball. You guessed it, four shots and 510 yards later, Johnson sunk a birdie putt to take him to within one of level par.

"I've been rehearsing my whole. life for this moment!" yelled Grande, a longtime fan of the boy band.

As if that wasn't enough excitement for one night, the rest of Grande's almost 90-minute set also saw guest appearances from Nicki Minaj, Diddy and Mase.

Though Justin Timberlake wasn't able to make it - according to Us Weekly, he had just finished his "Man of Woods" tour the day before - Grande was joined by Fatone, Bass, Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick.

Later, the crowd erupted again when Minaj joined in for Side to Side, Grande's 2016 single that she also co-wrote. She also became the first artist to occupy the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 positions simultaneously on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart since The Beatles did it in 1964.
