Samsung Reveals Galaxy A80 with First Rotating, Sliding Camera Design

The device comes to the market with decent specifications and also brings a new camera and display design concept. The Samsung Galaxy A70 comes with a water drop notch or an Infinity-U display along with 32MP cameras on both front and back. Samsung is yet to announce the pricing though what is nearly a surety is that it's going to extremely competitive to ensure the phone survives the Chinese onslaught.

These new devices belong to Samsung's refreshed A series lineup that saw the likes of the Galaxy A20, the Galaxy A30, and the Galaxy A50 in India a few months ago.

When users select the selfie mode in the camera app, the three cameras automatically pop-up from the back of the phone and rotate. The Galaxy A80 packs a 3,700 mAh battery with 25W Super-Fast Charging support. One of the devices launched by the company is the Galaxy A70. Powered by an octa-core chip, the 5.9-inch phone sports an Infinity-U cutout, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. Additionally, the smartphone will have 128GB of storage but no microSD slot or headphone jack.

Galaxy A80's Dolby Atmos lets users get a 360-degree audience experience when using earphones or Bluetooth speakers.

One of the key features of this smartphone is it does have a triple camera setup of 48MP (f/2.0), PDAF + 8MP (f/2.2), ultra wide-angle + a 3D depth camera.

As far as the camera is concerned, the Galaxy A40 comes with a dual-lens camera with a 16MP F1.7 main sensor and a 5MP F2.2 ultrawide secondary sensor.
