Nicki Minaj Cancels BET Concert After Cardi B Grammys Tweet

Also on Monday, Cardi B - who has been characterized as a rival to Minaj - deleted her Instagram account after posting an expletive-laden video in which she described receiving a torrent of online abuse ahead of and after her win on Sunday.

The 26-year old rapper chose to call it quits with the social media platform after receiving several backlash from fans who must have felt she wasn't deserving of it. She then pointed out how people said she was snubbed when she didn't win for her debut single "Bodak Yellow" past year despite two nominations.

Cardi B pointed out that she put in long hours recording her album while pregnant with her first child.

In her latest Instagram post, Cardi documented the marks on her legs as she said: 'Bro look at all the bruises I have on my knees from, um, Grammy rehearsals bro.

Heads are rolling like bowling balls over at Black Entertainment Television (BET) after Nicki Minaj canceled a scheduled performance for BET Awards weekend. "Seeing Cardi b win a Grammy make me feel like I won", J. Cole tweeted.

Before the apology, Nicki shared a lot of messages from fans slamming BET for its joke, and even encouraged one follower to ask for a refund for the festival in June.

In addition to dragging BET by their lace front, the Queen rapper took aim at Grammys producer, Ken Ehrlich, alleging that he's the reason she never won a Grammy despite 10 nominations.

In a statement, BET apologised to Minaj for the "hurt, disappointment and confusion that this post has caused". "We are committed to doing everything we can to address the situation", the statement read in part. "I'm thankful and grateful and again thank you to all the artist that gave me a feature". We'll keep you posted and let you know when she comes back. Finally, we apologize to all of her fans.
