Juventus organise signing ceremony for Arsenal midfielder Ramsey next week

Juventus will reportedly finalise the signing of Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey next week, with the Welshman having agreed to move to Turin in the summer.

It is believed that the 28-year-old will become the second highest paid player behind Cristiano Ronaldo for a club which has won the last seven Serie A titles and are nine points clear this term.

The report adds that Ramsey would have favoured a move to Liverpool if he stayed in the Premier League.

Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey celebrates scoring their third goal during their Premier League match with Fulham at Emirates Stadium in London January 1, 2019.

'At the moment he's an Arsenal player, certainly we aren't the only ones following him'.

They claim that he will jet to Italy this weekend to undertake a medical, before signing the necessary pre-contract agreement.

With Ramsey's future still up in the air, Arsenal boss Unai Emery may opt to leave him on the bench for the visit to West Ham on Saturday.

And Emery insisted today that he will still count on Ramsey for the rest of the season even if he does finalise a deal with Juventus.

'My idea and focus, I say to him every day, is with us, ' Emery said.

'And I was very happy with him in the last match.

Arsenal fans just hope he doesn't end up joining a Premier League rival, because according to BBC Sport's David Ornstein, the Wales worldwide has a preference if he were to stay in England.

It is understood Ramsey's boyhood dream was to play for Barcelona but despite preliminary talks that option will not be pursued.
