YouTube Singapore said the growing trend towards local content over the past three editions of YouTube Rewind reflects the importance for videos to connect with local sentiments.

Perhaps the most interesting video on the list wa sa YouTube original series: the first episode of "Cobra Kai".

It was still pleasant to see those present take over control of Rewind and use it to let the fans control some aspects of it as well.

No. 2 was a video from Dude Perfect, a YouTube channel whose trick shot videos are routinely among the most popular on the platform. It seems that this time the video was not that impressive compared to the previous year. But were they in YouTube rewind? The lack of these moments reiterates the divide between how the platform wants to be seen and the actual culture that creators participate in. It includes mainstream stars like Fortnite's Ninja, and some of YouTube's most notable creators who have worked in traditional Hollywood - Casey Neistat, Lilly Singh, and Liza Koshy.

But the Senate, which alone needs to confirm Nauert, is still under the control of Trump´s Republican Party. She needs to go make some money to pay down some debts", one GOP strategist recently told Roll Call.

So while 2018 was a huge year for YouTube and the internet stars who make it great, many were left off.

In 2017, Disney dropped YouTube vlogger Felix Kjellberg, known as "PewDiePie", from its collection of YouTube channels called Maker Studios. And like last year's video, Youtube Rewind 2018 is already racking up thousands of dislikes. The decision is an especially strong stance, considering Kjellberg is the No. 1 YouTuber, with more than 74.8 million subscribers.

People are giving a reaction on social media about the video.

While YouTube's Rewind is disappointing we are trembling in anticipation for the responses from other creators such as videogamedunkey who made his own rewind for 2016. With over 51 million views and counting, Cobra Kai's debut episode, "Ace Degenerate", earned the eighth spot on the list, finishing behind "Portugal v Spain - 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia - MATCH 3" and "Build Swimming Pool Around Underground House".
