Rockstar Games announce updates for in-game economy balancing

The in-game economy has come under some fire recently.

It's been over a month since Rockstar's incredible Red Dead Redemption 2 came out, and after basking in its vast, handsome single player journey for dozens of hours, many of us are ready for more.

Rockstar released Red Dead Online's beta last week to certain players, with everyone who owns the game now being allowed to play.

Fortunately, in an update from Rockstar today, the developer assured players that it has heard their feedback and is working out the beta's frustrating money issues.

Rockstar is also targeting game bugs that consistently kick players out of the online beta. Aside from the world feeling somewhat barren, the multiplayer mode suffers from a freaky in-game economy where gold watches are worth less than a can of baked beans.

Rudy Giuliani claims his Twitter account was invaded
To bolster his argument, Giuliani noted that his second "period no space" error ("Helsinki.Either") didn't generate a link. With no facts or justification, he blamed Twitter , saying employees there are "cardcarrying anti-Trumpers".

Rockstar says it developed the game in such a way that it can make timely adjustments based on feedback received.

"Red Dead Online' features an open world that players can explore, teeming with story missions, animals to hunt, fishing spots, posses, camps, and various other ways to interact with the massive game world and characters within it".

The main issue Rockstar wants to address is to ensure that all activities in Red Dead Online are appropriately rewarded, in addition to ironing out any pesky bugs that still linger within its sprawling, Wild West-flavoured setting. Several bars are often required for a purchase.

Interestingly, the statement notes that fixes to Red Dead Online will begin rolling out at the end of this week.
