Kevin Durant Wants The Redskins To Sign Colin Kaepernick

The Washington Redskins face yet another quarterback crisis, but even that isn't enough for the team to bring in Colin Kaepernick, not even for a workout.

Redskins running back Adrian Peterson has spoken out in support of Kaepernick in the past, telling NBC Sports Washington in November that Kaepernick deserves a job in the National Football League "without a doubt".

"He's been talked about and discussed, but we'll probably go in a different direction".

Bad news, Colin Kaepernick fans: Jay Gruden says they likely won't.

The Redskins signed Mark Sanchez on November 19 to serve as McCoy's backup.

Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool manager charged with misconduct for derby celebration
Klopp said sorry straight after the game for his intrusion. "I don't say it was a lack of respect because I didn't see it". Everton boss Marco Silva played down the incident after initially saying he had not seen the celebrations.

McCoy broke his right fibula during the team's 28-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Meanwhile, Colt McCoy, making his second start in place of Alex Smith, reportedly sustained a broken fibula in the second quarter of the game.

Gruden said the Redskins wanted to add a quarterback who either knew his system already - Josh Johnson, who worked out for them two weeks ago, played one year with Gruden in Cincinnati and was with him in Tampa in 2008.

Redskins offensive coordinator Matt Cavanaugh was the Jets' quarterbacks coach for Sanchez. "If it was Week 1, there would be a better possibility". Which Sanchez did. We just wanted somebody to have a similar skill set to Colt and had a little bit of familiarity with some of the concepts that we've been running. After McCoy began the game 4 of 4 for 50 yards, Sanchez only was able to manage 100 yards passing on 13 completions over 21 attempts the rest of the night.

Gruden also said McCoy might return this season.
