Filming continued for decades even as the ranch changed hands.

HBO added in a statement to ET: "Paramount Ranch was one of the locations used during seasons one and two of "Westworld", in addition to the primary location at Melody Ranch in Santa Clarita". Most importantly, our thoughts go out to all those affected by these awful fires.

Actor James Wood asked almost two million of his Twitter followers to use the hashtag #CampFireJamesWoods to help share names of those who are missing in a separate wildfire in Northern California that has claimed five lives.

It remains to be seen whether the sets will be rebuilt for future production or if the next season of Westworld will feature the town of Escalante.
