QChennai: Govt Warns of Action Against Sarkar; New Trekking Rules

Since the beginning "Sarkar" is surrounded by sea of controversies.

The ruling party was against the scene where AR Murugadoss throws the free mixer grinder provided by Tamil Nadu Government into fire and Komalavali, the character name of Varalakshmi which indirectly mentions the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

There have been protests by AIADMK workers in the state against the film.

While Sarkar is running in theaters and hitting the numbers at the box office, the film fell into quite a couple of troubles with the last being Tamilnadu Minister Kadambur Raju demanding a couple of controversial scenes be removed from screening.

Andrew Gillum waffles on concession in Florida governor's race
Scott and Nelson, meanwhile, have hired lawyers and have demanded information on those who cast provisional ballots on Tuesday. As of Thursday, razor-thin margins of less than 0.5 percentage points separated the candidates in both races .

Earlier in the day, Tamil "Superstar" Rajinikanth threw his weight behind Vijay, questioning the AIADMK's rationale in protesting against a film certified by the censor board.

Raju said "AIADMK workers, ranging from supporters to Chief Minister (K Palaniswami)", treat Jayalalithaa as "God".

Meanwhile, the Madras High Court ordered the Tamil Nadu police not to arrest "Sarkar" movie Director A.R. Murugadoss who had approached it seeking anticipatory bail. "So the issue has come to an end". He too tweeted that a government that can't accept criticism can go off the tangent.

However, the film has found support from the DMK with its leader Sarvanan expressed his displeasure on the AIADMK calling the filmmaker Naxal. Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Radha Ravi played lead roles in Sarkar that is produced by Sun Pictures. State ministers had called for the deletion of these scenes and threatened to take the legal route against the film, even as protests erupted in different parts of the state.
