Did Trump's White House published a doctored video?

During a brief media availability outside the White House, the president gave more fodder to fans who enjoy watching him scrap with journalists.

And asked how long he would suspend CNN correspondent Jim Acosta's credentials, the president replied: "I haven't made that decision, but it could be others also". "I don't think he's a smart person but he has a loud voice", President Trump told reporters in a testy 20-plus-minute exchange before he left for Paris and a World War I commemoration ceremony. "She gets publicity and then she gets the pay raise or she gets a contract with, I think, CNN, but she's very nasty and she shouldn't be", Trump added. Fox Business Network's Trish Regan said it makes no sense that Ryan thinks it has anything to do with her gender or race.

In response, Sanders said the White House ban on Acosta's credentials would stand.

On Friday night, CNN commentator Nina Turner weighed in on President Donald Trump's recent attacks on reporters. In her statement announcing Acosta's suspension, she said the White House won't tolerate "a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job".

Sanders tweeted an edited video of a C-SPAN recording which, she wrote, clearly documents the inappropriate behavior. The video proved otherwise.

CNN said the move was done "in retaliation for his (Acosta's) challenging questions".

Trump on Wednesday accused Alcindor of asking a racist question when she inquired about the president receiving support from some white nationalists. He should be either going forward, a campaign strategist, a campaign spokesperson on the Democratic side, or perhaps an opinion host in CNN prime time, or a pundit, because that is what Jim Acosta really is.

Meanwhile, revoking Acosta's "hard pass" apparently is a dream come true for Trump.

But some journalists - concerned about which reporter might be targeted next - have been calling for action to match the words. He called the White House accusations "a lie". "What a stupid question", Trump snapped.

The White House on Wednesday suspended the media pass for Acosta, CNN's chief White House correspondent. "We strongly reject the idea that any administration would block a journalist's access to the White House". I watch her get up.
