Dez Bryant Reportedly Tears Achilles at Practice Days After Signing with Saints

The Saints signed Dez Bryant earlier this week to bolster their receiving corps with a capable veteran, but Bryant's season may have ended Friday before it ever truly began in New Orleans.

Bryant wasn't expected to play this Sunday, but the Pro Bowl wideout was brought in to provide relief opposite of Michael Thomas.

Bryant had just signed a one-year deal with the Saints this week after spending the past seven months as a free agent.

Dez Bryant had to be carried off the field after suffering an injury during practice with the New Orleans Saints, multiple reports say. Per Schefter, the Saints could turn to Brandon Marshall, who also worked out for the team along with Bryant recently.

The Cowboys cut ties with Dez during this past off-season - and while he reportedly got offers from at least one National Football League team, Dez didn't sign until the Saints came calling because he thought they were the right fit.
