PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds might release on PS4 in December

For seemingly no reason in particular, Microsoft has made a decision to hand out free copies of two Xbox One games.

No need to get salty PlayStation users as rumors are lurking that PUBG will be released to your console next month. The December release date seems accurate too as Daniel Ahmad, analyst for Niko Partners, commented on a ResetEra thread confirming the end-of-year release.

While our knowledge of a PS4 "PUBG" is now informed by insider talk, a DC Comics tie-in is instead officially approved. This release would put it as the same day as the Game Awards, meaning that they'll likely make the announcement at the event.

It was also noted that "PUBG is already on the Sony servers, hosting the game image and Content-ID for the PSN store". Can't have the PS4 players missing out on those chicken dinners, can we? Originally, PUBG is available on Xbox for $29.99.

The game is free to download for a limited time, which is flawless for players who were always tempted to buy the game on console but couldn't decide between console and PC. In an official statement, it said: "We're proud to announce this next step in PUBG Corp.'s plan to cement our place as a global esports platform".

Gamers who can't wait for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds to arrive on PlayStation 4, feel free to download the mobile version that is available on both Android and iOS devices. According to the post, the update includes a new weapon MK47 Mutant from the PUBG PC, a three-wheeler rickshaw called Tukshai and snow area in the Sanhok map.

Dr DisRespect is back at it again with another Code Red tournament that will see Fortnite being the game of choice for Thursday, November 8th.
