MTV EMAs: Camila Cabello wins large, Janet Jackson performs

Camila Cabello won big on the night, with four awards including Best Artist and Best Song.

One of many stars to raise awareness of the movement via awards ceremonies this year, Janet also used her acceptance speech for the Billboard Icon Award in May to hail survivors who had spoken out against abuse.

Bebe Rexha also opted for some sparkle, in a short, shiny dress which was belted at the waist, and over the knee boots.

French DJ David Guetta, up for best electronic artist, and Nicki Minaj, competing in the hip hop category, will perform at the show which starts at 9 pm (2000 GMT).

She is fresh from winning prestigious prizes at the MTV Video Music Awards in August - artist of the year and video of the year - after her album "Camila" reached the top of U.S. charts in January.

She added: "I stand with you. Women, our voices will be heard when we speak out for justice".
