Seann Walsh's ex-girlfriend responds to TV apology

The actress took to Twitter to like a number of tweets from people who watched him admit he was "very sorry" for the "hurt" he has caused after he and his "Strictly Come Dancing" partner were pictured kissing last week, despite him being in a relationship with Rebecca at the time, and Katya being married to fellow pro dancer Neil Jones. "We were getting on well, we were having fun", he said.

He said: "I made a mistake, which I'm very sorry for - sorry for the hurt that I've caused".

Humphries later ended her relationship and shared a lengthy, powerful statement to Twitter saying that Walsh had been out with Jones while she was at home on her birthday.

Good Morning Britain's Ben Shephard asked the Daily Mirror's associate editor Kevin Maguire whether the pair needed to make a public apology when they're on a dancing show.

But speaking about the so-called Strictly curse, she said: "You are putty in the hands of whoever is teaching you".

She backed social media users who slammed Walsh after his appearance on BBC's It Takes Two programme last night, with one of the comments saying: 'He's a d***'.

"We had a couple of drinks and made a huge mistake and I regret it deeply".

Seann Walsh and Katya Jones were caught kissing on video following a night out.

She opened by asking the pair: 'You've both apologised for your behaviour - is there anything else that either of you would like to say?'

Seann Walsh's ex-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries has been inundated with support over the break-up. "Our relationship wasn't ideal, that doesn't mean I wanted it to end the way it finally did".

"I'm not flawless, far from it". "I can't make a comment because I made friends with Katya and Neil [Jones, her husband] past year and I love them both dearly", she continued. This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for'. You have to remember these moments are rare - think of all the hundreds of dancers in Strictly Come Dancing over the years, 15 or 16 years since it first started, and really not much has happened.then think about real life, and what really goes on.

Strictly victor and presenter Ore Oduba told Metro: "I just want the show to get back to people watching the dancing".

Katya also grovelled for her part in the kiss but insisted it hadn't ruined her marriage.

"But the main thing for me is me and Neil are fine".
