The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have attended the Mental Health Summit at County Hall in London.

Kate Middleton and Prince William stepped out for their first joint engagement together on Tuesday since the birth of their third child, Louis, in April.

Political figures, experts from around the world and policy makers are due at the two-day event to discuss issues such as how to deal with the stigma attached to mental health.

They also heard presentations on two case studies of active mental health programmes from Slovenia and the United States of America and visited an exhibition area.

Both wore outfits we've seen previously, with Prince William choosing a classic black and white suit and Kate choosing a long-sleeved lilac dress by designer Emilia Wickstead, which she wore during her royal tour of Germany in 2017.

The Duke nominated his wife to add to the painting, telling everyone 'she is the arty one'.

It is the third-most-powerful storm on record to hit the US , and the worst in almost 50 years, since Hurricane Camille in 1969. Many flights were canceled in the hurricane zone, and Amtrak changed some train schedules to protect passengers and employees.

Kate and William also met with Dairo Vargas, a contemporary fine artist from Columbia, who is creating an original piece of art at the summit, inspired by the day's events.

"That's pretty much ruined the picture", William joked, via E!

The Duke and Duchess have been longtime supporters of mental health awareness, promoting their organization, Heads Together, to help mental health charities and groups around the country and the world. The initiative was started by Dixon Chibanda and teaches the women to become lay health workers.

She wore a attractive purple dress from Emilia Wickstead for the outing teamed with a pair of nude heels.

Catherine - who also has children Prince George, five, and three-year-old Princess Charlotte - then praised the artist for his work.

Welcome back guys, we've missed you!
