Aaron Rodgers carted into locker room with potential injury

- Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered what could be a potentially serious knee injury in the team's season opener against the Chicago Bears. He had heavy pressure on Rodgers early in the second quarter which resulted in a sack by Roy Robertson-Harris. Yes, Aaron Rodgers was incredible in his ability to lead a resilient Green Bay Packer group past the Chicago Bears.

They would play alongside leading tackler Blake Martinez in the Packers' base 3-4 defence.

The larger story here, though, is the second-half adjustment made by Mike McCarthy and Rodgers to mitigate the Bears' pass rush. Packers backup quarterback DeShone Kizer entered the game with 6:44 to play in the second quarter.

Rodgers' post-injury final totals were a stunning 17-of-23 for 273 yards and three touchdowns, including one emphatic chuck out of bounds to run out the final seconds.

The quarterback initially tried to get up, then went back down, and was attended to by trainers.

CBS Chief Les Moonves Was Reportedly Obsessed With Ruining Janet Jackson
According to sources , Moonves didn't think it was a wardrobe malfunction but instead an intentional act to drum up controversy. According to Huff Post's sources, Timberlake was later allowed by Moonves after he apologized for the incident tearfully.

Jakeem Grant scored on a tiebreaking 102-yard kickoff return with 14 minutes to go, and the Miami Dolphins overcame two weather delays to win the longest game since the 1970 NFL-AFL merger, beating the Tennessee Titans 27-20 Sunday.

Whether the Packers are being a bit reckless in letting Rodgers back into a game in which the Packers have been unable to protect him is debatable, but we can all agree it's a great sign that Rodgers is deemed healthy enough to play. He says that's the knee Rodgers tore his ACL on in high school and had repaired in college.

The last time Rodgers left the field on a cart, no good news came from it. I'll bet Jon Gruden and his coaching staff stayed disciplined and mainly steered away from the televisions tonight, but the players were watching.

Mitchell Trubisky was 23 of 35 for 171 yards.

Bears: Host the Seattle Seahawks next Monday.
