Man United target Harry Maguire won't move in January - Leicester's Ben Chiwell

Of course missing from that list is "ol" Slaphead himself Harry Maguire.

Leicester City manager Claude Puel has trolled Manchester United following their inability to buy Harry Maguire this summer.

The 25-year-old, a target for Manchester United, starred as England reached the semi-finals in Russian Federation, where Puel believes his player announced himself as "one of the best" centre-halves in the world.

"It's going to be hard away from home at Manchester United, but it's something that we're going to have to be fearless enough to try".

The Daily Mail says that Leicester remain adamant that Maguire is not going to be sold before the transfer deadline and neither incoming move is dependant on it. "I am happy with the performance to make this game in this condition, it's encouraging for the future." he commended his center-back. "It would have been a good reward for our play".

They said the family "is moving forward with the hard talk of processing our grief" and asked for space to mourn. Investigators on Saturday will try to retrieve the plane's flight data recorder and its cockpit voice recorder.

United have signed promising Brazilian midfielder Fred, Portugese right back Diogo Dalot, attacking mid Andreas Pereira and err. veteran 'keeper Lee Grant, but their failure to secure any of Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire or Yerry Mina has left a bad taste in the mouth for supporters.

"We lost Riyad Mahrez, who was a very valuable player for us, so it was important to keep our best players and have good additions to the squad".

In addition to keeping two of their major stars Leicester were also busy bringing in new blood signing centre-backs Caglar Soyuncu (Freiburg) and Filip Benkovic (Dinamo Zagreb) for a combined £29million on the final day of the window.

"For us it (a Maguire transfer) is not possible". We need to continue and build some good momentum.

"Unlucky? I think we were without the clinical edge needed to finish the good moves we had in the first half", Puel told Sky Sports.
