Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth out of 'Star Trek 4'

Now, Star Trek 4 has reportedly advanced far enough that deals are already being negotiated between the studio and the returning cast.

Popularity of this reboot has gradually declined since "Star Trek" (2009) with lower scores on both IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes for each sequel. According to THR, both Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth have walked away from negotiations due to a lack of sufficient cheddar.

Obviously, if the two sides are unable to resolve the conflicts, the future of the Star Trek film franchise would look massively different.

The question Star Trek fans have to ask is: what will happen to the remaining members of the cast, including Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto, John Cho, Simon Pegg, and Karl Urban? Following right behind Pine is his onscreen dad Chris Hemsworth, who also couldn't come to an agreement on his salary for this impending continuation of the sci-fi franchise. Star Trek 3 only grossed $343 million on a $190 million budget.

On Saturday, reporters asked Mr Trump during an event at his golf club in New Jersey if he felt betrayed by Ms Manigault Newman. While she doesn't provide direct evidence, she cites three unnamed sources who attest to the existence of the tape.

A Chris Pine and Chris Hemsworth team-up seemed promising for "Star Trek 4", but now the entire movie's fate is up in the air. That mediocre performer would be Star Trek Beyond, which sources say Paramount actually lost money on.

The Next Generation alum Brent Spiner, who played the android Data, heard the news he playfully responded that he too was walking away from Star Trek 4, tweeting "Me, too!" However, it appears Paramount is now going back on those apparent deals in order to try to reel in the budget, as the Star Trek franchise doesn't perform almost as well as either actors' retrospective DC or Marvel projects.

Where would you like to see the Star Trek film franchise go from here? The 2009 movie made only $385 million worldwide, but it made $257 million from domestic receipts. "The project could recast Kirk and his father". Or, attempt to bring the involved parties back to the table in hopes of a deal that would put them both into the intended roles.

Star Trek 4 will be directed by S. J. Clarkson, the first female director to helm the adventures of the Enterprise in theaters.
