Last Meetings - Everton Finalising Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes Arrivals

Barcelona pair Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes were joined by Brazil worldwide Bernard at Goodison Park, before Marco Silva moved to quickly snap up Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma on a season-long loan deal.

The Colombian centre-back had reportedly been subject to interest from Manchester United over a permanent move but Everton have swooped in for Mina on the final day of the English transfer window, with the player having his medical in Barcelona in order to push the move through.

Bernard, a 25-year-old capped 14 times by Brazil, was a free agent after his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk expired.

Everton's season-long loan deal for Portugal's Gomes will see them pay 2.25 million euros (RM10.6 million) and the player's wages.

Fulham also made some potentially smart signings, with Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Argentina global Luciano Vietto arguably chief among them - the latter joining on loan from Atletico Madrid with an option to buy. The club reserves the right to buy back the player.

'I chose Everton because of all the things I'd heard about Marco Silva and because Everton is a club with a lot of tradition, ' Bernard told the club's official website. "This is a great opportunity for me", said Mina.

"Every discussion we've had was very important in making me feel his confidence about my game".

With a little less than two hours left for Premier League sides to do deals, Everton are cutting it close but they remain confident of taking both deals over the line in time. "I am also determined to do my best for Everton".
