E3 2018: Everything We Learned From Sony's Spider-Man Demo

Last year's gameplay trailer was one of the highlights of the show.

What is Ghost of Tsushima and when does it come out?

Following the Sony E3 2018 conference, we now know even more Spider-Man PS4 villains joining the roster. A third-person shooter, Control takes place in a constantly shape-shifting NY building; its protagonist, Jesse Faden, has telekinetic powers.

On the E3 stage, the trailer opened up with the player, Jin Sakai, standing on the side of a hill, approaching a village that appeared to be under siege from an evil army torturing local villagers.

The new trailer pointed towards the inclusion of the Sinister Six, a team of Spider-Man's most formidable foes. As we were told when Ghost of Tsushima was first revealed, the game is set during the first Mongol invasion of Japan in 1274 and is set on the island of Tsushima (at least, that seems to be a fair assumption given its title).

Ghost of Tsushima is the newest of the four games, and having only just been announced at Paris Games Week a year ago with a brief teaser, it was intriguing to see what this game was actually all about.

The hosts won by six runs with former Durham batsman Calum MacLeod scoring 140 not out from 94 balls at Grange Cricket Club. The last eight months have seen Agar go from strength to strength in white-ball cricket.

The game definitely screams Sucker Punch with its smooth, seamless gameplay.

From what we have seen in the trailer, there is a lot more on offer here than there was 12 months ago.

Unfortunately, there's no word on when Ghost of Tsushima will be released, but we believe that the game will be available sometime in 2019.

We spent a ton of time working with our friends at Marvel Games to ensure we got characters like Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, and Electro just right.

A full on release is to be confirmed by the studio, but it is safe to say that fans can not wait to get their hands on their shiny new katana in Ghosts of Tsushima.
